“Learning is the beginning of wealth. Learning is the beginning of health. Learning is the beginning of spirituality. Searching and learning is where the miracle process all begins.” -Jim Rohn
If you want your life to change, if you want to become healthier, if you want to become happier, if you want to have purpose in your life—then start learning.
No matter how your day goes, whether as expected or not, ask yourself what did you learn? Each day we are filled with opportunities to learn about ourselves, the world, others, the planet, or life in general.
We are all students of the school of life, but so many are failing to learn what that means. It means growing as a person; it means you become a better version of yourself each and every day.
Never stop learning about yourself: who you are, what you like or don’t like, what your body likes or doesn’t like, what makes you happy, what makes you sad, what brings you joy, what makes you laugh, what you want in life, what you need, what inspires you, what motivates you, what makes you tick, what makes you get out of bed each day.
When we are learning we are growing, and no amount of growth is too small or too large. The point is to keep growing as a person and evolving into the person you want to be. Staying stuck does not serve you or those around you. You are both growing and learning or you are dying.
Learning keeps you young at heart and your mind sharp. Just because you are no longer “in school” does not mean that you are no longer in school. The school of life is for eternity, and while you are a part of it you may as well join in the party and enjoy class.
A life filled with growth and learning is a life well lived, no matter your age, gender, status, wealth, or place. Make each day a success and a day well lived, learn something new. Become a scholar of the school of life.
So what have you learned today?
