We spring-clean our homes, change the oil in our cars, and switch our closet from warm-weather clothes to cold-weather clothes. What about our bodies? Don’t they deserve the same time and attention?
Fall is a great time to think about the care and maintenance of your most precious asset, your body.
Personally, I like to do a good cleanse at least twice a year. First, in the spring to rid myself of the heavy winter foods that tend to clog up the digestive system. Second, in the fall to rid myself of those summer fun indulgences. Yes, I too can indulge a bit too much in the summer.
There are many, many, many cleansing and detoxing products out on the market and finding the right one can be confusing enough to say “forget it.” I completely understand how hard it can be to choose the protocol to trust and try and find the product worth your time and financial investment.
Being a sort of cleansing and detoxing junky, and I say that with great pride, I have tried a lot of different protocols. Why? Because I am always curious about how well different products work and I don’t mind experimenting on myself.
